Our Italian travels have come to an end. We have consumed boatloads of gelato, risotto, pasta ( yes, even gluten free for the digestively challenged among us) and Pietro’s skin has a lovely rosy glow from the Chianti and other red wines that have become a nightly ritual. On to beer and wurst!
We got lost more times than seems possible in Venice and Murano today. The tiny island of Burano with it’s colorful houses and handmade lace was a treat. Italian sea bass for dinner was scrumptious. Fashions are fabulous; everybody looks wonderful all the time. Arrivedercie!
