Jet lag is over and we’re in full swing. Toured the Borghese Gallery today and saw my most favorite Bernini sculpture… Apollo and Daphne. Worth the trip to Rome, it is. Will attempt to post a photo now at the Spanish Steps…

Oh, Cinque Terra, and the sculpture….the Borghese…..my mouth is watering at the thought of the food,…. Am so glad you are enjoying your time, as we know you are! Carole, I wanted to tell you about the butcher from Panzano who’s shop stands out among the thousands of butcher shops in Italy becasue he quotes Dante while talking up the beefsteak for sale. People come in just to hear him speak about politics and literature! I wonder what he’s saying about Osama bin Laden’s death??
